SMTP Settings
OptiTune supports using a custom SMTP server for sending all emails for your organization. To configure custom SMTP settings, click on the "Server Settings" tab, select "Advanced Settings", and click on "SMTP Settings".
Fill out the following fields with your SMTP server information. For example, if you are using Office 365, you can use the following settings:
Field | Value |
---|---|
Custom SMTP | Enabled |
Host Name | smtp.office365.com |
Port Number | 587 |
Encryption | Enable SSL is checked |
User Name | The email address of an Office 365 user |
Password | The password of the Office 365 user |
From Email | The display address that the emails will be sent from |
If you want to send emails using a shared mailbox, you will still need a regular Office 365 user configured with full access to the shared mailbox. In the image above, "noreply@bravurasoftware.com" is an O365 user with full access to the "support@bravurasoftware.com" shared mailbox.
