Add/Edit Business Entity

To add a new business entity (Company, Customer, Department, Site) for your organization, click on the "Organization" tab, and select "Hierarchy". Then click on the parent entity you want to add a child to, select the type of business entity from the drop down list, and finally click "Add". To edit an existing business entity, click on the entity's name in the hierarchy, and then click "Edit".

To save the new business entity, or update the existing one, fill in the fields on the form, and click "Save". Note that depending on the type of business entity you are adding or editing, fewer fields may be available.

Note: You can mouse over any of the field labels for an explanation.

Business Entity Description

Name

Enter the name of the business entity.

Description

Enter the description of the business entity.

Notes

Enter any notes you wish to keep about the business entity.

Parent Entity

Select the parent entity of the business entity. The parent can be any type of business entity.

Contact Information

Contact First Name

Enter the first name of the person to contact for the business entity.

Contact Last Name

Enter the last name of the person to contact for the business entity.

Contact Email

Enter the email address of the person to contact for the business entity.

Contact Phone

Enter the phone number of the person to contact for the business entity.

Mailing Address

Enter the mailing address for the business entity.

Physical Address

Enter the physical address for the business entity.

Website

Enter the website for the business entity.

Internal Accounting

Account Number

Enter the account number for the business entity.

Relationship Manager

First Name

Enter the first name of the sales person responsible for the business entity.

Last Name

Enter the last name of the sales person responsible for the business entity.

Email

Enter the email address of the sales person responsible for the business entity.

Phone

Enter the phone number of the sales person responsible for the business entity.
