    About Script Tasks

OptiTune lets you execute scripts (e.g. Batch Files, PowerShell Scripts, Perl Scripts, etc...) on a client computer, or group of computers. To execute a script on a computer or group of computers you need to create a "Script Task", which will contain all details about the script, and the script file itself.

Once you have created a script task, you can "deploy" it to a computer or group of computers by selecting the task using its checkbox, and hitting the "Deploy" button. You can deploy a script task to as many groups as you want.

    Columns

On this page, you will find the following columns for script tasks:

    • Name - the name of the script task.

    • Description - the description of the script task.

    • Date Modified - the date and time the script task was last modified.

    • Script - the name of the uploaded script file
