Introduction

OptiTune™ is a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solution that lets you manage thousands of computers, provide remote desktop support, deploy applications, manage updates, handle endpoint protection, and more. All from one cloud based console.

With OptiTune, the administration is carried out by a central management server. The clients access the management server through Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) to retrieve configuration and report status.

By using the HTTPS protocol, the clients do not need to be on the same physical network as the management server. In most cases, as long as the client computer has internet access, it will be able to communicate with the management server.
